Compensation & Benefits

At Parkview, we are committed to providing a Total Rewards program that is comprehensive with competitive benefit options that meet your needs.  We offer options for all of our job positions including compensation, benefits, work/life balance and learning – options that enhance your career and add value to your personal life.

Traditional and non-traditional benefits include:

Medical, dental and vision insurance

Parkview Health offers four medical plans with varying levels of coverage, deductibles, and co-pays to meet your family's needs. We also offer two dental plans and a vision plan for you and your eligible dependents.

Life and AD&D insurance

Parkview provides full-time co-workers (scheduled to work 32 or more hours a week) with life insurance options in increments of their annual salary. Part-time co-workers (scheduled to work 24 or more hours a week) are eligible for $15,000 of life insurance at no cost to the co-worker.

Additionally, coworkers are offered the option to purchase Supplemental Life and Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for eligible dependents.

Short-term and long-term disability
Short-term and long-term disability coverage provides a source of income if you are unable to work due to a serious illness or injury. Short-term disability is provided to coworkers with an FTE of 0.6 of higher. Long-term disability coverage is provided to full-time co-workers (scheduled to work 32 or more hours a week) following one year of continuous employment).
Retirement

Parkview Health provides a Retirement Contribution Plan for co-workers working at least 1,000 hours in a plan year. A variety of investment options are provided for all retirement savings plans offered.

All co-workers are offered the opportunity to contribute on either a pre-tax or after-tax basis to a 403(b) or 401(k) plan. Matching employer contributions are available for eligible co-workers.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) / Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
Parkview offers three Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options - health care, dependent care, or limited purpose flexible spending account. An FSA can help you increase your spendable income while lowering the amount of taxes you pay. Contributions to an FSA are pre-taxed and cannot exceed the IRS allowed annual maximums. Any money left in FSA accounts at the end of the year is forfeited. The IRS calls this the "use it or lose it" rule. Co-workers participating in our high-deductible health plan can maximize tax savings by participating in a Health Savings Account (HSA). This account can be used to pay out-of-pocket health care expenses with pre-tax dollars. Contributions to an HSA are pre-taxed and cannot exceed the IRS allowed annual maximums. In addition, Parkview Health will contribute towards your HSA.

After meeting eligibility requirements, coworkers have access to:

Lifestyle benefit
