Nine startups to pitch their innovations to expert panel and global audience next month
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – July 30, 2025 – Parkview Health, in partnership with Hylant and Butler University, revealed the nine semifinalist teams advancing in the 2025 Healthy Care, Healthy Costs Innovation Competition. Indiana, among the nation’s ten least healthy states, battles high chronic disease rates, health disparities, and preventable hospitalizations. This global challenge seeks bold, scalable solutions to reverse these trends.
Launched in May 2025, the competition called on innovators worldwide to share forward-thinking ideas, breakthrough technologies and services, or transformative solutions that improve patient outcomes, lower avoidable costs, and advance health equity.
On Thursday, August 28, nine semifinalists will pitch to an expert panel of healthcare leaders, investors and innovators. The event will be livestreamed for a global audience. One team will earn a $10,000 cash prize and high visibility introductions to health system executives, investors and potential partners.
Following the pitch round, up to five teams will join a two-month virtual accelerator, working with mentors from Parkview, Hylant and Butler University to refine and test their solutions. Finalists will reconvene for a closing pitch day on November 20, presenting for additional funding and partnership opportunities.
