FORT WAYNE, Ind. – June 23, 2026 – Parkview Health has once again been recognized among Newsweek’s Greatest Workplaces in Healthcare in a new listing released this month.
Parkview was selected as one of 500 healthcare companies and one of only eight headquartered in Indiana that appeared on the 2026 list. Parkview improved to a 4 1/2-star rating out of a possible five after receiving 4 stars in 2025.
Newsweek teamed up with Plant-A Insights Group and other third-party vendors to create a comprehensive analysis of more than 575,000 interviews and 7.6 million reviews covering 10 metrics of employee satisfaction including leadership, compensation and work-life balance.
“Parkview’s culture of excellence binds our more than 17,500 co-workers across Indiana and northwest Ohio,” said Dena Jacquay, chief administrative officer, Parkview Health. “Parkview listens to the voices of our co-workers, whether it’s the stories they tell during our systemwide listening tour stops recounting their best days, the ideas they submit during our culture surveys, or the feedback they provide during regular stay interviews, their ideas are what shape the culture that makes Parkview a great place to work.”
Parkview continues to grow its offerings every year, driven by the needs of co-workers. Within the last year, Parkview joined an innovative Tri-Share+ program with the Northeast Indiana Early Childhood Education Coalition, where Parkview picks up a third of the cost of childcare for eligible co-workers; debuted the Backup Childcare program to cover short-term care for parents in unexpected situations; and introduced a flexible pay system allowing co-workers options to access their earnings within the normal two-week pay period.
Those new benefits come on top of existing programs including the quarterly Lifestyle Benefit stipend; 16 hours of Volunteer Time Off; free admission to local seasonal community events; education tuition reimbursement; Parkview’s in-house MyWell-Being team supporting physical and mental health; and the Parkview Pups therapy dog program.
These efforts help drive workforce stability, with Parkview maintaining over 90% retention — outperforming national healthcare averages and supporting a strong, consistent care environment for patients.
“As Parkview continues to grow into new communities, our excellent workplace is critical to attract the best and brightest physicians, nurses and caregivers,” said Dr. Ray Dusman, president of physician and clinical enterprise, Parkview Health. “Our culture connects our people whether in northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio or new markets across the state, so that patients know when they come to any Parkview facility, they will receive great care from people who care.”
Parkview was previously recognized as Newsweek’s No. 5 Most Loved Workplace in 2025, was selected as Inspiring Workplaces’ No. 1 nonprofit and No. 31 in North America, was chosen as a Forbes Best-in-State Employer for four consecutive years and, just this month, won Greater Fort Wayne Inc.’s Business Excellence Award.
