Injectables

These treatments can be used to restore fullness to the face, diminish scars, erase fine lines, plump lips, lift the brow or downturned mouth, and revitalize hands.

For injection consultations, a $75 fee will be collected when you arrive for your consultation and will be applied toward your procedure if you choose to schedule.

Botox®/ Xeomin®

Targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet – the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting. When you squint or frown, the muscles between your eyebrows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines. Neuromodulator injections are used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to server frown lines between the eyebrows.

What to expect during treatment?

Your treatment will take between 10-20 minutes in which your doctor will inject Botox/Xeomin into the muscles in your forehead that cause frown lines. Some patients describe the procedure as feelinglike a pinch. No anesthesia is required; however, your doctor may apply a topical anesthetic or cold pack to help ease discomfort. The treatment requires little to no downtime for recovery. You may see visible soothing of frown lines within 3-7 days after treatment with the maximum affect occurring 30 days post treatment. The treatment last on average for 3 months.

Kybella™

Kybella is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat. Kybella aids in reshaping the outline of the neck below the chin, helping to eliminate what is commonly referred to as “the double chin.” Kybella not only destroys the fat cells but prevents them from accumulating fat so further treatment is generally not required.

What to expect during treatment?

You will arrive 1 hour before your scheduled treatment. At this time a nurse will apply a topical anesthetic to the area to help ease the discomfort. You will then receive multiple injections into the targeted area. The actual procedure usually takes only 15 to 20 minutes. After the treatment you may experience some swelling, bruising, or numbness under your chin and the area may be sore. The swelling and discomfort generally last for 1 week post treatment. Most patients will require 2-6 treatments to complete the treatment with 4-6 weeks between each treatment.

Facials and peels (exfoliation)

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels help to resurface the face by producing a controlled injury that helps in removing superficial layers of skin, promoting the growth of new skin and improved appearance. Peels can be used to help correct problems such as fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne, and age spots.

What to expect during treatment?

The skin is cleansed to remove oils and then a chemical agent is applied for 3 to 5 minutes. During this period, you may feel a mild stinging that subsides after a few minutes. Immediately after a peel your skin may be red and feel tight. You may experience mild peeling that last for 3-5 days.

Skin resurfacing

Sciton® Joule

This hand-held device produces an intense, pulsed broad band light treatment (BBL™) for rosacea, redness, dilated blood vessels, flushing, sun damage, acne, pigmented lesions and more. Using different laser technologies, the Sciton Joule “reprograms” your skin to slow down its natural aging process. The non-ablative and skin resurfacing procedure also treats age spots, scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, crow’s feet, sagging skin and uneven skin tone.

What to expect during treatment?

Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. Usually, there is no need for a topical anesthetic; however, your clinician may choose to use one when treating more sensitive areas. You may briefly feel a warm or quick snapping sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas. Your procedure may take a few minutes to half an hour depending on the size of the area to be treated and the type of procedure performed.

Vein treatment

Iridex/Diolite

Laser Iridex or Diolite laser is a safe and effective, non-traumatic treatment of vascular lesions such as small blood vessels, telangiectasia, and angiomas. The laser generates an intense beam of light that is absorbed by blood vessels causing destruction of veins by heating unwanted cells while leaving healthy cells intact.

What to expect during treatment?

Some patients report feeling a slight stinging sensation during the treatment. Most normal daily activities can be resumed with only slight redness, little to no discomfort in the treatment area on the same day. Avoiding Vasodilators such as strenuous exercise, hot beverages, spicy food, heat etc. for 3-4 days after the procedure. Approximately 60-65% of the lesions should clear with one session. Multiple sessions are recommended depending on the number of lesions present and the desired reduction.

Tattoo removal

RevLite

RevLite is a technologically advanced take on laser tattoo removal, using four specific frequencies of lasers for each color of ink. RevLite laser will safely remove tattoos with maximum success and comfort. As the light energy gently vibrates and shatters the tattoo ink into easily eliminated micro-particles, the short pulses feel like snaps of small rubber bands, followed by a warm sensation.

What to expect during treatment?

During your laser tattoo removal sessions, each RevLite laser wavelength will actually break down the ink within your skin, literally shattering and fragmenting the color pigments so that your body can then absorb them away. The appointments are typically spaced anywhere from six to eight weeks apart and can vary in number from just a few to many depending on the size of the tattoo, the saturation of the inks, and the depth of the ink, among other factors. A temporary whitening will follow the first treatment; over time, the tattoo particles will fade through the lymphatic system and the skin will return to its natural color. Tattoo treatment ranges from 5 to 15 sessions.

Body contouring

CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical way to safely and effectively freeze stubborn fat. Cryolipolysis or freezing of fat cells for individuals that may have stubborn pockets of fat that are difficult to reduce despite diet and exercise. CoolSculpting effectively targets fat cells underneath the skin without damage to the skin or surrounding tissues. Treated fat cells are frozen and then die. In the weeks to months that follow, the body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead fat cells. After CoolSculpting, treated fat cells are gone for good. Visible fat reduction is up to 20-25% reduction in the fat layer thickness after a single session. Results may be seen as early as 1-3 months after a treatment. Long-lasting results evident 6-9 years after treatment even with fluctuations in body weight.

What to expect during treatment?

The CoolSculpting applicator delivers controlled cooling to the targeted fat. During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. Sensations will subside as the area becomes numb. Little to no downtime-most patients return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure.

Hair removal

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair. During the treatment the laser beam passes through skin towards hair follicles, heating up the hair root which in turn inhibits future hair growth.

What to expect during treatment?

Laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage, however, at any given time your hair is in various stages of growth. Due to this, multiple sessions are required to complete treatment with most patients receiving the best results after 4-6 treatments. The length of time to perform each session depends on the area treated, with most sessions lasting less than 1 hour. The laser has a built-in cooling surface and is described as practically painless by most patients.
