Watch the video: Mindful Reset: Curiosity as a superpower
Today is about wonder. The mindset reset is about waking up with a beginner's eyes. You know what that looks like, that spark of interest, that spark of curiosity.
Perhaps you recall as a child or from a child that you've parented or grandparented, the thousand questions that are asked. The who, what, where, when and why. And we answer them without agitation. Certainly, the child asks out of pure love of learning and knowing.
We don't know what we don't know about what we don't know, and a bit of humility about that in today's world is needed more than ever, especially within ourselves.
And so, waking up is important.
I recall as a kid getting pulled out of a desk by a teacher. "Wake up, David!"
And of course, I did, and she was right.
An attitude of waking up and noticing is important in being present to our lives. Perhaps that's what gives us our humanity. Notice your patterns of what you attend to, and pause, and truly find and discover the newness of every day.
