Cancer, Diseases & Disorders

Drs. Jamie Renbarger and Alan Yahanda join us again to dive deeper into our DNA Insights community research program. Parkview recognizes Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and we hope that by learning more about the DNA Insights program our community is inspired to take a proactive approach to cancer prevention.

Lynch syndrome is a hereditary disorder that occurs in approximately one in 279 people in the United States. Approximately 4,000 cases of colorectal cancer result from Lynch Syndrome each year.

Today, join us in spreading awareness for Lynch Syndrome Awareness Day by encouraging those in your life to discover their genetic risk for this hereditary disorder, cancer and other conditions. You can do this by enrolling in Parkview’s DNA Insights community health research program, designed to improve access to personalized healthcare and support new research discoveries in our community.
